Charles is a Certified Financial Planner™, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. With this certification Charles is qualified to engage clients in a process that addresses investments, retirement planning, estate planning services, wealth transition, insurance needs and tax coordination. An emphasis on elite client service and continued focus on those things most important in his clients' lives are what set Charles apart from a typical "stock broker".
Prior to joining UBS in 2014, Charles spent 12 years with Merrill Lynch, successfully ran two small businesses and participated in the launch of a technology company in New York. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a BS in Finance in 2000, received his MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management in 2009 and achieved the CFP® designation in 2011.
Charles is passionate about education reform and sits on the board of directors for the Illinois Network of Charter Schools. Charles has also served on the Rush University Cancer Center Leadership Committee, and the Board of Governors for Olympia Fields Country Club. He founded the Millennium Wine Society while living in New York City, and has completed two marathons.
Charles lives in Western Springs with his two boys, Lucas and Max.
